We are hiring for a full-time Electrical Tech position at our Haverhill, MA manufacturing facility. We will consider qualified candidates for part time. Experience in the RV or Marine Industries a plus. Work as part of a team of fabricators and installers to build recreational vehicles, news media trucks, custom limousines, busses, and other transportation vehicles. Route wiring and install electronics with 12V power requirements. Install electrical systems for power and control of appliances, HVAC, battery banks, power inverters, consumer electronics, lighting, and more!

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Create and install wiring harnesses for single-phase 120V AC and battery 12V DC electronics
• Wire multi-source power distribution equipment, panels, breakers, and fuses
• Install wire terminations, electrical fittings, connector housings, and terminals
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot electrical components and wire harnesses for operation, damage, or safety hazards
• Ensure proper cable management, wire layout, and harness routing
• Remove and re-install OEM and aftermarket interior trim or fabricated paneling as-needed to access raceways and electronics
• Drill holes and perform all physical tasks associated with upfitting vehicles for RV, limousine, transportation, disability, or other specialty uses
• Maintain safe, clean and orderly tools and work area
• Complete all required paperwork and documentation
• Other duties as needed or required

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience with vehicle 12V (or 24V) systems, electronics, and other low voltage components is strongly preferred
• Ability and experience in wire stripping, soldering, splicing, crimping connector terminals, heat-shrink, tape, and loom is required
• Ability to understand and follow wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and documentation is required
• Ability to use testing equipment for diagnostic and troubleshooting (such as power probes or multimeters) is required
• Ability to work well both independently and in small teams
• Ability to interact with digital electrical interfaces for monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting of electronics
• Skills: Must possess the drive and aptitude to work safely with tools and understand home/automotive wiring. Self-motivated. Work well under pressure in fast-paced environment. Be able to follow directions; evaluate problems and prioritize tasks.
• Previous experience working with AC/DC power inverters, converters, chargers, battery banks, or generators is a strong plus
• Previous experience working in the vehicle upfitting, RV, marine, or solar industries is a strong plus
• Familiarity with multimedia and home audio/video systems helpful
• Familiarity with industry or trade organization standards a strong plus
• Industry or trade certifications a strong plus

Working Conditions

• Work inside and outside vehicles in a shop environment
• Frequent lifting of objects up to 50 lbs
